NetPro Computing Inc.'s Security Manager provides 24x7 monitoring of enterprise-wide security policies and both active and passive remediation when policy violations occur.
SecurityManager 4.0 includes a library of security best practices that can be enforced, tracked and reported on in real time from a single client. The software maps more than 300 critical settings to a knowledgebase of compliance requirements, such as ISO, HIPAA and SOX. When a system slips out of compliance, the software immediately sends alerts and automatically returns the system to a safe state without manual intervention.
The software has a graphical dashboard that highlights all potential risk areas in Active Directory, File System and Exchange. With SecurityManager, users can impose Separation of Duties and lock key objects to ensure 24x7 protection and compliance.
SecurityManager 4.0 has added the following features:
- Additional Active Directory configuration protection that prevents security breaches and network vulnerabilities. This release has enhanced reporting with access to vital compliance information.
- Twenty new server roles for refined policy checking by server -- based on Microsoft best practices.
- Enhanced reporting with graphs and drilldowns using Microsoft's SQL Reporting Services.
